The story begins
- Developing and implementing a future-oriented IT strategy in close alignment with company goals and senior management
- Leading, motivating, and developing the IT team while fostering an innovation-driven and agile corporate culture
- Ensuring a stable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure to support operational and strategic business processes
- Managing and continuously optimizing IT processes, including service management, system architecture, and support structures
- Overseeing IT security strategies, data protection measures, and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
- Identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies and digital solutions to enhance efficiency and drive digital transformation
- Planning, monitoring, and managing IT projects while ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality objectives
- Collaborating closely with internal departments to analyze technological requirements and develop customized IT solutions
- Selecting and managing external IT service providers and partners, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring
- Overseeing the IT budget, including cost control, investment planning, and profitability analysis
- Providing IT solutions for business needs in all areas of the company in cooperation with the Corporate IT team, from enterprise applications such as SAP S/4, EWM, and Business Objects to infrastructure and ServiceDesk
Your proven path
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in a senior IT leadership role with strategic and operational responsibility in a dynamic corporate environment
- Deep understanding of IT architectures, network infrastructures, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), cybersecurity, and modern software development processes
- Experience with ERP, CRM, and other business-critical applications, as well as their integration into existing system landscapes
- Proven experience in leading, developing, and motivating teams, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with a solution-oriented, proactive, and analytical approach
- Extensive experience in IT project management, including agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management approaches
- Experience in delivering and optimizing enterprise applications such as SAP S/4, EWM, and Business Objects, as well as managing IT infrastructure and ServiceDesk solutions
- Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, for collaboration with international teams and partners
